We are so glad you are interested in starting a house gathering as part of the Awakening Church! 

The first step is to fill out the form below. We would then contact you and set up a meeting to talk further about potentially starting a meeting in your home. If we agree to help you start a house gathering and sense it is God’s will and the right fit, we would then help you to get it started from scratch, and support, strengthen, minister to, encourage, and help it to grow. 

We would initially come over to visit you and help evangelize your area, get it started, and get it up and running. Once it is fully started and running well, we will come back to visit on occasion to strengthen, support, and encourage it.

We believe the four minimum practices in a house church are found in Acts 2:42 –
1) Apostles’ teaching (the Scriptures being discussed),
2) fellowship,
3) breaking of bread (food), and
4) prayer
We would expect you to be willing to practice all four of these in your home as you regularly meet together. You can always add additional practices to your house church services, such as worship music, etc. 

We would also expect you to align with our statement of faith and values.

We ask all house gatherings to encourage one another to donate to the Awakening Church online under the “donate” tab on the website. This will help the Awakening Church to continue to start more house gatherings, to fulfill the great commission, and to equip, train, strengthen, and teach the saints to minister and grow in Christ.
