Chris Dubois 

   Senior Leader 

Chris Dubois has been following Jesus for over thirty years and is a dad to two sons. He is the senior leader of the Awakening Church which began in 2009. He is an apostle, evangelist, and teacher and he operates regularly in the prophetic. Chris holds a B.B. (Bachelor in Bible) degree with a major in Bible and a minor in pastoral studies from Zion Bible College (now called NorthPoint College) and an M.DIV. (Master of Divinity) degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Chris has been doing vocational ministry for over twenty years, and his ministry is marked by a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit, and he passionately seeks to both declare and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus and the Kingdom to all nations for the glory of God. His passion is to make disciples by teaching, training, and equipping men and women to fulfill their God-given callings in ministry and missions in the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit and to help them grow in holiness, righteousness, maturity, and Christlikeness.   

  John Copell

   Assistant Leader 

John Copell is originally from New England and is currently living in Florence, SC with his wife and four kids. He’s been an evangelist for over 20 years all over the east coast ministering on the streets. He did missions in Nigeria and Ecuador, and he was an associate pastor for a while. He is very passionate about prayer and longs to see people come to Jesus and be discipled.
